Yes! I’ll admit that I’m a bit of a perfectionist (in a good way, of course) so I will help you plan your timeline and recommend vendors. We want the lighting to be the best it can be on the day for photos, so letting me in on the planning is a must!
-
Yes, when requested. This will be an additional cost and depends on how many hours you want them for.

This is one question I get a lot. You don’t have to worry - my style is very natural and candid, and I will never force you to pose for cringe-worthy photos. You can simply be yourself, and no matter what that looks like, it will make amazing photos, I’ll make sure of it!

As a photographer, the sun is our best friend - but it can also be a pain during certain times of the day! Generally, first thing in the morning and a couple hours before sunset is the most flattering light. If you are wanting golden tones, like you can see in much of my work, then a sunset shoot or one early in the morning is ideal.
Top tip for families with young kids - book a sunset shoot in winter when the sun sets earlier!
-
Yes! I have a beautiful natural light studio in Lake Hāwea. This is perfect for families, maternity and newborn shoots. Plus, it’s a good option for winter when it’s too cold outside!
-
I have a wardrobe guide that you’ll receive after booking with me. Don’t worry - I got you!

My style for newborn photography is lifestyle. I prefer to capture them how they are naturally and show off all their features. Lifestyle shoots are far less stressful and usually take place at your home (yay for not having to leave the house!) I will spend the majority of the shoot focusing on the connection between you and your baby plus any siblings, and photographing your baby within their surroundings.
My natural light studio is available to use also.

Of course! I also have many Wānaka, Hāwea or Queenstown locations up my sleeve, so you can choose the perfect backdrop that suits you and your family!

Usually between 30-36 weeks. We want the bump to be nice and round but also want you to be comfortable! However, I will never say no to a last minute maternity photoshoot - they are so special and make me happy dance!
